Dr. Hazrati completed his general surgery training at McGill University, and fellowship in laparoscopic bariatric and upper GI surgery at the renowned Stanford University . Dr. Hazrati is in good standing with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Ontario, and remains an active member in the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery (ASMBS), Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES), and the International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity (IFSO). He has extensive experience in Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and Polypectomy. He does manage all anorectal issues such as hemorrhoid, fissure and fistula in outpatient and hospital facilities.
Dr. Hazrati holds hospital privileges at Scarborough General hospital, and has been a member of the Division of General Surgery at Scarborough General since 2011. Dr. Hazrati is fluent in English, Farsi, and French.
